Meet Taya, Client Care Representative

I was born and raised in Alberta and lived on an acreage out by Wabamun Lake. I am the youngest of the family and have an older brother named Jake. I moved to Kelowna in 2019 with my boyfriend Sam, and our Chihuahua Pom, Rico Suave.

I have always been an animal lover and wanted to work with animals. I started volunteering at a veterinary clinic in Edmonton when I was 14 years old. Animal lovers run in my family as my family owns an equestrian centre in Calgary. I’ve also worked with the Edmonton Wildlife Society helping them with whatever wildlife needed care. I loved working there. I learned so many things and had an opportunity to see wild animals I never thought I'd get close to!

I’ve been working for Pawsitive Veterinary Care since August 2020 and love it here! I’m a very outdoorsy person and adore living in West Kelowna. Sam, Rico and I go on adventures every chance we get. You won't often find us inside, there's just so much to do in this area.
