Laura
Meet Laura, Veterinary Assistant
Animals – feathered, furred, or scaled – have always fascinated me. I grew up with my nose between the pages of encyclopedias and animal-centric novels. I’m an animal nerd at heart, and learning how to care for them became my passion. Contributing to animal welfare became my goal.
I graduated from my Veterinary Hospital Assistant program in 2019, worked as a reptile educator, then joined the Pawsitive Veterinary Care family in 2020. I now provide care for our patients during treatment and recovery from surgery.
My two pups are Phoebe, a Chinese Crested, and Reginald, an FMD rescued from Taiwan. I also have a cat named Mr. Kitty Whiskers.
When I’m not exploring the world with my kids (furred and non-furred), reading, writing, or attempting to finish one of many art projects, I’ll be cozied up with a warm cup of tea, watching an animal documentary.
